- 10:00 a.m. Birds' Aquatic Habitat, Speaker: John Walch, photographer. Learn about the beauty and diversity of birds that can be found in and around Algoma, with an emphasis on the importance of water resources for migratory birds.
- 11:00 a.m. Winged Wonders - LIVE Birds, Speaker: Samantha Brooks, Wildlife Educator, Raptor Education Group, Inc.
- 12:30 p.m. Welcoming Nature: Transition to a More Nature Friendly Yard, Speaker: Jennifer Phillips-Vanderberg, PhD, Director, Lake Michigan Bird Observatory. Learn how to make your yard and community more bird, pollinator, and water friendly. Jennifer leads the Observatory’s Neighborhood Habitat Improvement Project, a program focused on improving bird and pollinator habitat and water quality in lakeside communities. She will share easy ways to start and take your yard to the next level. Bring your questions about your own yard!
