Janet Tlachac-Toonen was born in Milwaukee, WI  but lived most of her childhood in the Door County area.  She has been a fine artist for all of her adult life and most recently added writing to her creative endeavors.  Janet and her husband Pete, founded Stay Toon'd Publishing in January 2015.  Their business located in Wisconsin Dells, WI showcases Janet's colorful drawings and adorable characters that appear in her children's books. 
Janet also designed a unique line of coloring books that are for adults and kids to color side-by-side.  "It is my goal to create the very best quality works that will inspire, entertain, and teach kids while encouraging family interaction."
